Input Data

This chapter contains the scenario definitions and input data used for blowout and well kill simulations for hypothetical blowouts from one of the wells on the Alpha or Beta fields.

Based on the information in section 2.1, inflow curves are estimated for gas inflow from the different reservoir zones in the well. For one particular simulation, we assume the fluid with the same composition is coming from all inflow zones.

Alpha wells

For Alpha well Scenario 1, we assume an upper penetration of reservoir Sand 3 and a complete open reservoir Sand 2. The inflow curves can be found in Figure 2.1.
