Contingency Planning Philosophy

Our approach to contingency planning is to assist operators, drilling contractors, and integrated service companies to define and manage their well control risks in a systematic way.  To accomplish this task we have defined five major management criterion which together make up an integrated "Well Control Management System".  These criterion are, the management of:

• Response to a well control incident for three levels of severity
• Training, Drills and Certifications for well control responders
• Technology related to reduction and escalation of well control hazards
• Hazards and Risk relative to well control incidents
• Information related to reduction and escalation of well control hazards
